What is Aquaponics—Aqua Ranch Explains

Aquaponics is a hydrid system of fish being raised in tanks or ponds and the fish waste recirculated to hydroponically raised plants. The fish waste is the nutrient for the plants while the plants clean or polishes the water of fish waste until it is clean enough to recirculate back to the fish tanks.

Aquaponics on a smaller hobby scale… (audio is not so good but the video will give you a good idea that aquaponics can be as large or as small as you want it to be)
