Excellent ideas on composting. I have been a recycler for many years and compost about everything. You know we use to call it ecology. Had not thought about the vacumn cleaner or cardboard boxes before. Anyone got ideas on how to shred it. Also had not thought about wine. Hmm. usually use that in a recyle mode if gets old in bottle, by marinating meat or making a wine sauce or a good bbq sauce. Composting the left overs in glasses especially if you had a party would be a great idea. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
