Tom Alexander

Tom Alexander launched Growing Edge in 1989 sensing a need for more information on hydroponics and greenhouses. He has dabbled in hydroponics but still likes to get his hands dirty in soil gardening which he does on four acres seven miles outside of Corvallis, OR. He grows hundreds of varieties of flowers, vegetables and fruits. For relaxation he rides his Kubota tractor, mowing between the raised beds of of crops. His motto is "I have never seen a plant I didn't like."
