Organic farms unknowingly used a synthetic fertilizer

veggiesSome of the biggest organic farms in the country may have unknowingly used organic fertilizers spiked with ammonium sulfate, a synthetic fertilizer banned from organic farms. Another reason to grow your own vegetables and if you can’t, then purchase them from small, local farmers.
