Mini Greenhouse Conservatories Made From Recycled Windows

miniconservatoryLinda Smith, calls her creation a “yard conservatory.” Each conservatory is made from six vintage recycled windows. Smith connects four widows into a box with a hinged door, which makes up the base, and then attaches two more windows that form an open-sided pitched roof. From this basic design, Smith then individually customizes each one with ornamental metal at the roof crest, and a mosaic pattern of broken pieces of vintage china. She even adds a handmade crystal chandelier.
Smith’s mini greenhouse conservatories can be placed in an outdoor landscape with plants inside. Smith says many people who buy them also put them inside their homes since they are so decorative.
