The Growing World of Hydroponics
In the last issue, we looked briefly at the history of hydroponics. In this issue, we turn our attention to the basic needs that govern the growth of plants, bearing in mind that hydroponics is only a system or technique and doesn’t modify the way in which plants grow.
Think of a plant as a well-run factory that takes delivery of raw materials and manufactures the most wondrous products. Just as a factory requires a reliable energy source to turn the wheels of its machinery, so do plants require an energy source to grow.
