Conspiracy Theories And The White House Garden

WhiteHouseGardenConspiracy lovers are claiming that the recently harvested veggies from the White House garden were fake. The conspiracy theorists say there is no way the veggies could have grown that big in only 90 days.
They say the Obamas substituted mature plants in the garden for immature ones to fool gullible citizens of America. What will they think of next?

You are right, the White House garden is within acceptable levels set by the EPA and other regulatory agencies but… other urban gardens are near industrial areas and could or probably do have unacceptable levels of lead and other toxic by-products of the industrial age (remember their slogan from the 1960s… “better living through chemistry.”) Back then everyone thought pollution just disappeared into thin air (or water or soil.)
