GMO’s have saved continent-wide crop failure. The only one that I can say seriously crosses the line is the gene that won’t allow breeding after the first year. The “self-destruct” gene seriously makes me angry.

Nothing good came from GMO ever. Increased yield? Not necessary, when people wouldn’t throw away perfectly fine food. Resistance against this and that? Abandon monoculture, introduce companion plants. Obviously the impact would be the best if people would get over eating meat, since that industry is such a waste of space and primary sources. It’s like quit smoking, you know it would do you good, but for some reason you don’t.
